Description

3M ESPE Filtek Bulk Fill Flowable Restorative Syringe

The 3M Filtek Bulk Fill Flowable Restorative is engineered for efficient dental restorations with enhanced strength, wear resistance, and radiopacity. It features a specialized formulation of fillers and monomers that minimizes shrinkage and polymerization stress, crucial for maintaining restoration integrity. Its low viscosity allows for easy adaptation in deep cavities, requiring minimal instrumentation for placement. Capable of curing up to 4mm in depth, it supports bulk fill procedures, optimizing workflow efficiency. The material can be safely warmed for up to one hour at 70°C, facilitating injection moulding and ensuring precise application. Whether used as a base or a liner, this flowable composite resin offers dental professionals a versatile solution that combines ease of use with reliable performance, contributing to durable and aesthetically pleasing restorations.

Indications:

  • Base under Class I and II direct restorations
  • Liner under direct restorative materials
  • Pit and fissure sealant
  • Restoration of minimally invasive cavity preparations (including small, non-stress-bearing occlusal restorations)
  • Class III and V restorations
  • Undercut blockout
  • Repair of small enamel defects
  • Repair of small defects in esthetic indirect restorations
  • Repair of resin and acrylic temporary materials
  • As a core build-up, where at least half the coronal tooth structure is remaining to provide structural support for the crown.

Features:

  • Optimized Filler and Monomer Blend: Designed to maximize strength, wear resistance, and radiopacity while minimizing shrinkage.
  • Low Viscosity: Ensures easy adaptation in deep restorations with little or no instrumentation.
  • Low Shrinkage and Polymerization Stress: Intelligent selection of monomers and fillers produces a restorative with minimal shrinkage and stress during polymerization.
  • Bulk Fill Capability: Can be used to perform bulk fill restorations with a depth of cure up to 4mm.
  • Warming Tolerance: Capsules can be safely warmed up to 70°C for up to one hour, allowing for injection moulding.
  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for use as a bulk fill base or a low-stress liner in various restorative procedures.
  • Radiopaque: Easily distinguishable on radiographs, aiding in diagnosis and follow-up.
  • Excellent Handling Properties: Flowable consistency allows for precise placement and easy adaptation to cavity walls.

About brand

More than a century ago, 3M started as a small-scale mining venture in Northern Minnesota, then named Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. Now a global powerhouse, our products improve the daily lives of people around the world.

But our success and longevity were not apparent from the start. We tried. We failed. We tried something new. Repeat cycle. Innovation and perseverance drove our founders, and it continues to drive 3Mers today

When 3M began in 1902, our five founders had a simple goal: to mine for corundum, a mineral ideal for making sandpaper and grinding wheels. Turns out, what they thought was corundum was really another low-grade mineral called anorthosite.
