Bisco Theracal PT is a biocompatible, dual-cure resin-modified calcium silicate material designed for use in procedures involving exposed dental pulp. It helps protect the pulpal complex by forming a protective barrier, supporting the preservation of tooth vitality during restorative treatment.

Its calcium-releasing formulation promotes an alkaline pH, making TheraCal PT particularly suitable for deep cavity preparations and pulp protection. TheraCal PT – Clinical Indications & Applications

• Pulpotomy

TheraCal PT is indicated for pulpotomy procedures and can be applied following the partial or complete removal of the coronal pulp.

• Direct Pulp Capping

For pulp exposures, TheraCal PT may be placed directly over the exposed pulp once adequate hemostasis has been achieved, providing a protective layer over the pulp.

• Indirect Pulp Capping

It can also be used as a protective liner or base for indirect pulp capping, including placement beneath a variety of restorative materials and substrates.

• Versatile Pulp Protection
