Bisco Uni Etch 32% Etchant Indispense (30ml) is a 32% phosphoric acid semi-gel etchant containing Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC), formulated for efficient etching of enamel and dentin during adhesive dental procedures. Its etching action creates micro-retentive surface characteristics that help provide the surface conditions required for effective bonding.

The blue-colored formulation offers clear visual contrast during application, helping clinicians identify the treated area with greater ease. Its polymer-based formulation provides thixotropic handling, allowing the etchant to remain controlled during placement while supporting convenient clinical application. After etching, Uni-Etch w/BAC rinses away quickly and cleanly without leaving residue, helping maintain a suitable surface for subsequent bonding steps.

Uni-Etch w/BAC contains Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC), an antimicrobial agent. In-vitro research has reported activity against Streptococcus mutans. However, the manufacturer notes that the inclusion of BAC has not been shown to reduce secondary decay in patients, and in-vivo clinical studies evaluating its effects on oral bacteria or caries have not been performed.
