Coltene Coltosol F Temporary Filling Material – 38g
Coltosol F is a moisture-curing, radio-opaque, white temporary filling material designed for short-term dental applications, lasting 1–2 weeks. It is a zinc oxide/zinc sulphate-based cement used for temporary fillings in Class I and II cavities and for temporary sealing in endodontic procedures.
Coltosol F hardens by absorbing moisture, providing a dense, secure marginal seal. However, care should be taken with thin enamel margins, as expansion during hardening may cause fractures.
It is not recommended for cavities extending under the gingiva or for long-term use in vital teeth. While generally safe, dehydration in the cavities of vital teeth can cause temporary discomfort, so keeping the area moist before application is important.
Economical & reliable
Coltosol F is a temporary, eugenol-free filling material. The ease of use and self-curing properties under the action of saliva make Coltosol F an ideal material for temporary fillings and temporary root canal sealings. Available in shade Universal White.
- High marginal seal due to slight expansion
- Contains zinc oxide and fluoride
- Eugenol-free and radiopaque
- Self-curing under the action of saliva
