Ribbond Scissors

Ribbond Scissors

Ribbond Scissors are precision dental instruments specifically designed for clean and accurate trimming of Ribbond polyethylene fiber reinforcement ribbons before placement and curing. Their specialized cutting design helps handle high-strength polyethylene fibers that can be difficult to cut effectively with conventional dental scissors.

The sharp, precise blades provide a smooth cut with minimal fiber fraying, helping maintain the shape and integrity of the reinforcement material for proper adaptation and bonding. Made from durable stainless steel, Ribbond Scissors are autoclavable and suitable for repeated clinical use while supporting standard dental instrument sterilization procedures.

Ideal for fiber-reinforced restorations, dental splinting, and Ribbond-based reinforcement procedures, these scissors are a useful accessory for clinicians working with polyethylene fiber systems and are commonly supplied with Ribbond starter kits.
